Kate’s journey with yoga began at 16, attending a village hall class with her mum—seeking both connection and a sense of calm amidst the stresses of school. What started as a shared practice soon became a lifelong exploration of movement, energy, and self-inquiry.
After building a career in one of the top marketing agencies, yoga remained her anchor—a deeply personal, self-guided practice that provided space and stillness in a fast-moving world. It was during the stillness of lockdown that she took the leap, completing her 200-hour Hatha/Vinyasa training and stepping into the role of teacher.
Since then, Kate has co-founded and established Heist House Studios, taking up residency in 2022. Her teaching has continued to evolve, blending dynamic movement with energetic awareness. She deepened her studies through Mandala Vinyasa training with Dulce Aguilar (Kindred Yoga) and further expanded her energy work, becoming a Reiki Master alongside her mum in 2024. Her curiosity about vibration and frequency led her into the world of sound healing, where she continues to explore its profound effects on the body and mind.
Kate’s approach to yoga is deeply embodied and integrative—drawing from movement, breath, and energetic practices to create an experience that is both grounding and expansive. She believes in the power of yoga to reconnect us to ourselves, to each other, and to a greater sense of joy.
She organises and hosts yoga & wellness retreats and teaches weekly at Heist House Studios, where she also offers private 1:1 yoga and nourish sessions—holding space for others to explore their own healing and transformation.
